BGB Supports Frontline Workers in Nickels for Nurses

Prior to the pandemic, Bosses Give Back positioned itself to support some of the most vulnerable communities in 2020. However, with nurses, doctors and hospital staff working overtime on the frontlines to combat COVID-19, BGB created the “Nickels for Nurses” initiative, with “Mini Boss Suhaylah” to benefit them in the beginning of May. As a thank you for their service and their sacrifice, BGB set up donation stations in our communities to collect contributions over the course of two weeks. 

In conjunction with the in-person ways to donate, the help of social media, and word of mouth marketing, the Babes were able to raise over $600 that was used to purchase lunch for the staff at Temple University &  Roxborough Memorial hospitals, and to create “swag bags” for 10 amazing and deserving local nurses.
