Understanding the racial disparities as it pertains to entrepreneurship and wealth, Bosses Give Back committed itself to supporting Black-owned businesses in need, right here in our community. Although our hometown is known as the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia was not spared the civil unrest and widespread property damage in response to the murder of George Floyd. With a goal to fundraise $1,000, each dollar donated was matched by BGB in an initiative called the #BGBMatchCampaign. These two businesses are owned by young, Black entrepreneurs also dedicated to making a difference in their community. Perfectly Flawless and Kicks and Fashion, are located in the Germantown and South Philadelphia neighborhoods respectively.

At the completion of this month-long initiative, Bosses Give Back exceeded its goal and was able to provide each business with $1,117.50 to assist with storefront repairs and the financial losses experienced due to COVID-19.
